Our Investments
Over its first year of operation in its new strategic direction, Wool Equities Limited has partnered with two existing business organizations to successfully strengthen and fast track the delivery of their value back to wool growers.
The first, an existing on line electronic auction/tender solution called Woolonline has had initial success in a high technology area, success which has eluded many larger earlier players. Wool Equities incentive to take a cornerstone shareholding in this business through the wool appraisal company, Wool Connextions Limited aims to fast track the adoption of this sales platform by wool growers which will save them costs in selling their wool.
The second, an existing Romney wool initiative to make rugs for the New Zealand market has been broadened to encompass the manufacture and sale of rugs for the USA market. These rugs are on sale now through 35 stores in USA.
